Highdream showcased its Twin-Screw Loss-in-Weight Feeder at TaipeiPLAS 2026, exploring precision feeding for plastics processing, extrusion and recycling.

TaipeiPLAS 2026 brought together the plastics and rubber industry once again, covering technologies from blown film, extrusion and pelletising to plastic materials, automation and recycling.
This year, Highdream showcased our Twin-Screw Loss-in-Weight Feeder, with a live demonstration allowing visitors to see the feeding process and machine operation firsthand. Designed for accurate and stable gravimetric feeding, the system can support controlled dosing of powders, additives and other materials in continuous production processes.
Our booth was located directly next to Diing Kuen’s prominent three-storey blown film production line display on the 4th floor. This neighbouring exhibit provided a clear, real-world view of how precise material feeding can connect with downstream extrusion and blown film processing.
Throughout the show, we also met many familiar industry partners as well as new exhibitors. In addition to the strong presence of blown film, extrusion, pelletising and plastic material suppliers, we saw greater participation from companies focusing on recycling technologies and complete recycling lines.
This shift was also reflected in TaipeiPLAS 2026 through the first “Care About Tomorrow” Pavilion, presenting the circular journey of plastics from design and manufacturing to use, recycling and regeneration.
The growing visibility of recycling technologies highlights how sustainability and circular manufacturing are becoming increasingly important across the plastics industry.
For feeding technology, this also creates new opportunities. Recycling and plastics processing may require controlled feeding and blending of recycled materials, virgin resin, additives or fillers. Loss-in-weight feeding provides continuous gravimetric control, helping maintain a stable material feed rate for downstream processes.
During TaipeiPLAS, we exchanged ideas with companies involved in recycling, sustainable materials and related processing technologies, discussing potential cooperation and how loss-in-weight feeders could be integrated into future production and recycling lines.
TaipeiPLAS 2026 was a valuable opportunity to reconnect with industry partners, meet new companies and explore the changing needs of plastics processing.
